This policy explains how Grading Calculator handles calculator inputs, ordinary website visits, and messages sent to us.
Calculator inputs
The calculator scripts run in your browser. They do not submit the scores, question totals, weights, targets, or custom grading thresholds you enter to a calculation server. The tools do not ask for names, student IDs, or school account details.
The calculator scripts do not save your entries in cookies or browser storage. Reloading the page restores its example values, although your browser may independently remember form fields or restore a previous tab.
Website visits and hosting
Loading a page sends ordinary connection information to the website’s hosting infrastructure, including an IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Hosting and security systems may process access or error logs to deliver pages, diagnose faults, and protect the site.
The website uses WordPress and Hostinger hosting. Calculator input values are not added to page URLs by our calculator code. Service providers handle their own infrastructure data under their applicable terms and policies.
Cookies and third-party services
The calculators do not require tracking cookies. WordPress uses cookies for authorized administrator login, and hosting or security services may use technical mechanisms needed to operate the site.
The initial calculator pages do not include an advertising network, embedded social feed, or a visitor analytics tag added by this site’s calculator implementation. If optional analytics, advertising, or other data-collecting features are introduced, this policy and any required choices will need to reflect those services.
Email you send us
If you email contact@gradingcalculator.pro, your email provider and the receiving email service process the message. We receive the address, message content, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to handle the inquiry, investigate reported errors, and maintain relevant correspondence.
Please send anonymous examples rather than student records. Do not send passwords, student IDs, sensitive educational records, or information about another person that is not needed to explain the issue.
Sharing and retention
Information needed to host the site or handle email is processed through the relevant service providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably needed to protect the website and address misuse.
Email correspondence may be retained while an inquiry or related issue remains relevant. Infrastructure log retention is managed through the hosting and security services; this policy does not promise a specific deletion period for those systems.
Your choices
You can use the calculators without emailing us or creating an account. You can manage cookies and saved form information through your browser. To ask about information you have sent us, or request its correction or deletion, contact the address below. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons.
Children and student information
The tools can be used without identifying a student. We do not ask children to submit personal profiles or school records. If you believe personal information was sent to us unnecessarily, contact us so the concern can be reviewed.
Links and policy changes
External links lead to websites with their own privacy practices. This policy covers Grading Calculator, not those websites. Material changes to our practices should be reflected here with an updated effective date.
